History

The firm of Allen, Shepherd, & Lewis, P.A. began in 1984 as a two-person law firm focusing its practice in insurance defense litigation, real estate, banking and municipal law. Allen, Shepherd, & Lewis, P.A. presently focuses on a general civil practice. The firm has received an AV rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory (1999), the highest rating available from this publication.

In 1995, The American Lawyer, published the results of its national survey to identify those law firms which corporate counsel nationwide would designate as a "top choice." Allen, Shepherd, & Lewis, P.A. was identified by the surveys as one of the top firms in the country from the standpoint of client satisfaction.
