Ms. Vittitow earned her J.D. from The University of New Mexico School of Law in 2017. She received her B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Professional Writing with three summa cum laude accolades from the same institution. Ms. Vittitow worked in Governor Martinez' office as a Boards and Commissions Research Analyst before attending law school, and she continued gaining experience as she joined in-house counsel at a local commercial real estate development firm during law school.
Ms. Vittitow has been practicing since 2018. She began her practice as an Associate in a former solo practitioner’s office, where she clerked before passing the Bar. Ms. Vittitow completed a wide variety of work on cases ranging from probate and estate planning to water rights, business formations, and private and commercial real estate transactions. She joined a robust, well-respected insurance defense firm in downtown Albuquerque in August of 2019 and garnered invaluable experience in all aspects of litigation there as she defended clients' insureds as to liability claims in motor vehicle accidents and slip-and-fall cases, as well as significant claims involving catastrophic damages, including wrongful death claims. She also became that firm's source for minor settlement claims resolution through court approval with Guardian ad Litems. Ms. Vittitow continues assisting clients' insureds at our firm as she continues to build her practice. Ms. Vittitow is admitted to practice in New Mexico and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.
Ms. Vittitow's most treasured time is spent with her husband, Alec, at their home and with their family and friends, and she immensely enjoys volunteering with Alec at their home church in Albuquerque. Ms. Vittitow is a multiple World and Reserve World Champion and Congress top five competitor with her Paint horses. She showed her horses nationally for about 20 years, and she continues to ride and fit her horses for all-around events. She also loves running with her Borgi.
